Taco Time began in 2009 with a simple dream: to share the vibrant, authentic flavors of traditional Mexican cuisine with the people of Meridian, Idaho. Our founder, Maria Gutierrez, grew up preparing family recipes passed down through generations — and decided the world deserved to taste them too.

What started as a modest taco stand at the local farmers market quickly grew into a full-service restaurant at 785 S Progress Ave. Word spread fast. People came for the food, stayed for the warmth, and kept coming back. The tacotime experience is more than just a meal — it's a feeling of belonging.
